Hi everyone, I hope someone can help because I'm almost bald trying to sort this.

We have a public folder on our server where confirmation order emails go into (sell printers online). Now I need to use Windows Desktop Search to quickly find an order if a customer rings in.

Therefore I need to copy the public folder on the server into my favourites public folder location so WDS can index it.

Now, everything works fine until I close Outlook for the night. When I come in the office the emails that are sent overnight aren't copied into my favourites folder although they appear in the public folder on the server. Any emails that arrive while Outlook is running is copied over though.

When I check the statistics for this folder the figures don't match.

I have tried deleting the ost files and allowing it to restore them but the same thing happened again.

Cached mode is enabled. Here is the log:

...
09:04:24 Synchronizing full items in folder 'Google Alerts'
09:04:44 Error synchronizing folder

Does anyone know what's going on?

Thanks

Nick
