i use this registry tweak about running explorer.exe in separate process.

;Multiple Explorer Processes meaning its more stable
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer]
"DesktopProcess"=dword:00000001

and / or the one in nlite regtweak define similar to above.
What i found in my system is while running process such as encoding file (eg. RvmIntegrator,
Winamp playing song) ,when i right click on any file in explorer.exe,every process stop.Winamp
stop playing song and RvmIntegrator stop repack cabinet file.i have to right click again to close
context menu.So those programs continue their process again.

Another problem is while winamp playing song and i type something on keyboard in explorer address,
there will be pitch sound from speakers.it's a random pith sound every 10-20 keyboard press.

First i think it because of invalid registry about context menu ,but i already tried this in new clean
setup without other registrys key except the separate process key.i'm sure that it's because of this key.

Every problem solved when i remove these 2 keys.

Do you guys know what 's the cause of my problem ?
Thanks

My info about my system
Athlon XP Barton 2500@3200
Abit NF7-S
1 GB Dual Channel
Radeon 9550 256MB AGP
160 GB Seagate SATA
Sb Audigy
Every device with the latest stable driver...

Try this one instead
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\BrowseNewProcess]
"BrowseNewProcess"="Yes"

This one is about launching lE (browser) windows. :rolleyes:

The original tweak is about launching Windows desktop in separate processes and I'm not sure if it's directly related to running different tasks/multithreading.
