Ok, in the 'Remove Components' section of nlite, I can select "Manual Install and Upgrade" for deletion to save (according to nlite) 44.0 Mb of space.

Looking at my I386 source and adding up the *UPG dirrectories, I come up with a hair over 37Mb of space.

What else is nlite deleting and are any changes being made to .sif files (or anything really) to support the removal??

thanks!

the answer is in your question:  the manual install. (winnt.exe, winnt32.exe and all those stuffs needed for manual install).
