Suspicious! Did Opera get acquired by Microsoft?

In Opera, I sometimes get "Click to activate this control" for Flash applets!

I thought that this is supposed to apply to Internet Explorer only! :angry:

This is because Microsoft lost a patent lawsuit. The patent lawsuit reguards automatically running applets.

There is probably a patch you can do to restore the original run-on-load functionality.

I prefer click-to-run, it's actually more secure and you don't have to look at all the Flash ad crap (which should've been blocked by HOSTS anyway...)

Someone a while ago talked about Opera getting aquired by Microsoft. I hope that isn't true. :realmad:

Firefox is the one whose bunking with M$ for "support" lately, not Opera.
And just go grab the plugin for Flash and you're all set. ;)
