Can you please provide any input on what kind of hardware I should get for my new system Im building. There is no limit on budget. System will be mainly used for gaming.
So far, I've made up my mind about getting the following:
Intel Core 2 E6600
Seagate SATA II 320GB x 2
7950GX2
Viper Case
Can you recommend what I should get for the following:
RAM (2GB)
MOTHER BOARD (Will not be running SLi)
7950GX2 (Is there any difference of performance between the brand names i.e.ASUS, XFX, EVGA?
Thanks to all of you in advance.

Hello,
As far as i know you have to have an "SLI Motherboard" in order to use the 7950GX2 i may be wrong tho
I would try and get the fastest DDR2 ram that your motherboard can support
Nice Setup
Ben

For RAM I'd go either for Crucial Ballistics or Mushkin with highest frequencies available (and supported by your mobo)
For mobo, (OK, I might be biased) go for Gigabyte. Very stable, easy overclocking, plenty of features.
For GFX, I'd go for either BFG or XFX.
That's my 2 cents

video card is fine, but maybe look into the top of the line ati cards too.
for ram mushkin, gskill, geil, corsair, all is good.

get the pc2-6400 only if u want to overclock, otherwise get the pc2-5400
as for mobo, i prefer the gigabyte ds3, but if u dont need all of the extra features then get the s3
