I am having trouble sorting out Mods and Admin's because on the stats section of the left panel on posts, It always says members even though they are moderaters.
But team icons can sort them out for you! I think team icons will help new members figure out who the mods are. It seems like 45% of all IPB forums have team icons. And I could make them and they might look cool! So can we please use them?

No not that! They are images under the pips with a visual showing of what special job or status they have at the forum using them (Member, Advanced Member, mod, super mod, admin and even banned).

You mean that mods/admins should have a banner saying mod or admin instead of the stars: ???

We have that a some point, but we decided to remove them so that we don't give the impression to be "superior" to the members.

But once again he makes no sense. What ever that member is it will say under there avatar what group they belong to.

So if it says:

They are a member. If it says:

Group: Super Moderator
Posts: 1220
Member No.: 42
Joined: 23-August 01

then they are a super moderator.

The fact is there are 6 primary groups.

• Affiliate
  
• Banned aka Vacation

They are CLEARLY MARKED under their avatar. And once again *deep breath* just because other boards have them doesn't mean MSFN needs them. MSFN is unique and that is what makes MSFN so special.

No! The Stars stay but maybe we can just use them on Mods, Super Mods and Admins, And I am getting someone to make them so they match the theme! And they also give good knowing that new members can find the Mods/Admins.
And you can change it so that they call regular members "Restigered" in the status collum and the team icon/pips show the status of the member instead (Member, Advanced Member). And it will still name Mods and the Admin as Mods and Admins in the status collum and team icon for easy ID

i dont know what others think, but i agree with viper. but i dont think everyone should have them.

then again as crispy said we have had them before but they never looked right, the plain ones the admins have at the minute do though (imo)

maybe we should add mods, news ed's too?
