If it has drivers for Win9x you're probably going to be fine.

I've installed Win98SE on the computer of my sister but it wouldn't work because of the PCIe graphic card.
If your GeForce FX is a AGP version this motherboard should work.
Btw, I recommend you using the chipset maker (ULi) drivers instead of the motheboard maker.
http://www.nvidia.co...li_drivers.html or
http://www.uli.com.t...ort/drivers.php (under M1695)

My experience is that many Nvidia PCIe cards work with Windows 98 SE, you just have to choose the model manually. Just look at the list at http://www.nvidia.co..._supported.html I have used 6200, 6200 Turbo Cache and 6600. It depends on the motherboard too.
I don't think that there is FX5700 with PCIe bus.

The fx5700 only exists in AGP. The WinFast PX360 TD (fx5750), 350TDH (fx5900) and 340TD (fx5300) are the only FX cards I know that are PCI-e.
The AGP works fine with win98 on the dual-sata 2 and dual-vsta MBs. Just install the AGP driver before the graphic card driver.
