Big Booger
If your computer is part of a Workgroup, you will notice that a Shared Documents folder appears in My Computer. This folder lets you share files with multiple users easily. If you want to remove this folder you can: Start the Registry Editor Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion Policies Explorer Right-click an empty space in the right pane and select New > DWORD Value Name the new value NoSharedDocuments Double-click this new value, and enter 1 as its Value data Close the registry editor Log off, or restart Windows for the changes to take effect To reverse this process, change the Value data to 0, or delete the NoSharedDocuments Value.taken from:http://www.windows-help.net/WindowsXP/tune-16.htmlHope this helps,Big Booger

Big Booger
system restore? that might fix the problem, howeverm, you'd have to go back to the day it screwed up/you renamed the folder. Another thing you can try is going into the registry as stated below and make sure its there, that is the registry entry for the shared document folder.big Booger:hohum

Big Booger
refer again to the above reference and create the registry entry that you said is not there, I think that will fix your problem. Make sure to first create a restore point. Big Booger
