New Intel 1 Gbit Ethernet cards and W9x Anybody tried them with W9x? Rate Topic: -----

Hello, I just noticed that the latest Intel driver for Gigabit Ethernet cards does not support many new NICs. The latest driver for Win98 seems to be PROSET ver. 10.3 and contains NDIS3 driver ver. 8.6.17 dated 01/06/2006 that supports the following gigabit NICs:

Has anybody tried to use e.g. PRO/1000 PL that is on D975XBX mobo with some modified Win9x driver? Or this is just death end?
