I disabled System Restore in my install, i think it was with nLite rc 2.

Now, at the midle of the installation, the setup stops to pop-up a message saying that system restore is disabled, and it is recommended to return, enable it and upgrade to windows media player 10, and i donīt even use windows media player.

is there a way to avoid this message, so the installation can get going really unattended?

wmp10setup.exe /Q:A /R:N /C:"setup_wm. exe /DisallowSystemRestore /Q:A /R:N"

This issue was discussed long ago..

This error is more than likely caused by one of the hotfixes included in your setup.

I ran into a similar error myself at one point and it took quite a bit of searching through the forum to discover that the error related to a hotfix I was installing that was associated with wmp but as it turns out had since been superceded anyway.

My suggestion - check your hotfixes....

Searching through the forum will find many threads on this problem.
