After creating a new W2k-CD with HFSLIP1.0.1, I got the MBSA2.0 message that KB867801 is missing.
But i have included it into HF.
Manually applying afterwards does not work either. Message: IE6 SP1 is missing!
Does anybody else have had this problem before?
I use german language versions.

That doesn't surprise me. Errors like that come and go.
Why are you putting that hotfix in HF in the first place? It's the IE cumulative update from over 2 years ago... You should be using v3 of KB918899...

I got the same message just now. Did not include KB867801 but have included KB918899.
After getting the message with mbsa I entered winows update (web) and I did not get the KB867801 in the update list. Then I started msbsa2 again and surprise KB867801 was no longer missing.
Strange...

I am using only the files in Tomcats list:
IE6.0sp1-KB905495-Windows2000-x86-DEU.exe
IE6.0sp1-KB918439-Windows-2000-XP-x86-DEU.exe
IE6.0sp1-KB918899-Windows-2000-XP-v3-x86-DEU.exe
IE6.0sp1-KB925486-Windows2000-x86-DEU.exe
My PC does only have a slow dial in connection and windows update is deactivated, so I would like to have an offline solution for this problem.
FYI MBSA2.0 with catalog-file(wsusscan.cab) from 11-Aug-2006 reports no problem!
