Thanks a lot, MAVERICKS CHOICE! My bad :blushing: The addon was tested in VMware but I totally forgot to check whether Scite is there or not. Working on the problem right now.

P.S.: FIXED!

Hello

Thanks yet again for your tireless and generous work rado354, it is most appreciated.

A question though...

Can any of these wonderful add-ons be used with a XP64 nlite disk...?

Many thanks again for what you do :)

I think most of them will work fine on 64-bit.

are u sure?
cause i am pretty sure they wont.....
simple reason: svcpack is in amd64 folder not in i386 folder.

I have downloaded a 64bit version of Direct X and found this in the ini file...

;Made by UtCollector
[general]
builddate=07/03/2008
description=DirectX March 2008
language=English
title=DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtimes 64 Bit
version=9 Build 9.22.1284
website=http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=740AC79A-5B72-447D-84F9-EE6407ED1A91&displaylang=en

[EditFile]
I386\SVCPACK.INF,SetupHotfixesToRun,AddProgram

[AddProgram]
DX.exe

another one has....

;Made by UtCollector
[general]
builddate=04/10-2007
description=VirtualDub V1.7.5 stable 64-bit (AMD64) version
language=Default
title=VirtualDub 64-bit (AMD64) version
version=V1.7.5
website=http://www.virtualdub.org

[EditFile]
I386\SVCPACK.INF,SetupHotfixesToRun,AddProgram

[AddProgram]
VirtualDub.exe

so that made me wonder if the ones within this section would work on a 64 bit installation of XP by using nlite to integrate them...?

Both of the above have their program file placed in a svcpack folder.

ok
it seems i was wrong.....
nlite is smart enough to put the files in the right place. meaning in amd64 folder. also if u look after svcpack.inf after integrate this addons u will see what i meant.

In my tests for this guide I found:

Quote

Application AddOns:
nLite supports the use of application addon .cab files at the hotfix integration step, however I do not recommend their use as the file associations don't register with XP x64 (OK with x86 Windows). You should instead edit Run1_XP-64.bat to call the standard enduser installer with the appropriate silent install switches. Currently the following applications will be installed if they are copied to \AddOns:
