Thanks again for the marvelous theme, oddbasket, it just keeps getting better. :)

I have a question, I notice you now have a Black menu background Patch, is this something that can be uninstalled if so desired or does it take uninstalling the whole theme to uninstall the patch?

The patches are just simple self extracting sfx to keep sizes small, so no uninstall/revert function.

It seems the inevitable(?) finally happened... Royale Remixed v1.46 got passed off as the original Royale Noir 1.46 by someone...

Was alerted to this by a thread in Neowin which links to this entry on winAddons, and hosted as freeware on Softpedia

Will this theme succeed Royale as the most downloaded theme by end users?

This is the problem I'm expecting countless of users to be having since the theme ultimately isn't a certified M$ theme. You will need a patched uxtheme.dll to use this theme. Download Universal Theme Patcher 2.1

So people passing off/thinking my theme as M$ original is actually a bad thing. I would expect M$ tech support to get some surprising emails about 'their' theme.

I have a patched uxtheme integrated with nLite and I am actually using the Royale Zune VS right now, that error in the screenshot only appears on when selecting 'Extra Large Fonts' I dont use that but someone might. :)

Is there any way I can get the minor stuff like Search Comparison, The Black Menu, Etc. without downloading Royale Noir Remixed?

Download. (603 KB)

This is a WinRAR-SFX archive that extracts "Royale Noir"
directly to %SystemRoot%\Resources\Themes.

I've added a .Theme file and a proper (IMO) wallpaper.
I just thought it could be helpful to anyone who's a newbie
to preparing and configuring a theme!

After installation, select Royale Noir from the Themes menu.

Thank you, itsjustaname, for the link. I always like Royale theme.

The link for the .theme file download does not make available a .theme file. Please upload the file.

I like the royale theme very much (especially the blue one), the only thing I would like to change is start button - without text (I can delete the text but there still is space between win logo and icons) and the bar, I would appreciate if it was thinner. The ideal bar and start button is from Royal Inspirant, which looks like this:

Do not you know, how to import the bar with start button to royale msstyle? Or how to make the bar thinner? I tried to do that with resource hacker and stylebuilder, but it I was not able to manage it.
Thanks for your help.
