Hello to all, :hello:

I have read quite a bit on the nLite subject & have tried the great software.
I found it very straight forward to use.

Now that I have got this far, I would really like to make my own addon packs using my favourite software programs. (I know that there are many good addon packs already available, but not all of them suit my needs)

I have located a program called nLite addon maker.
My ambition is to create an unattended Windows XP Pro + SP2 + updates + some drivers + my own applications.

I can manage all of the above except for the "My own applications" aspect.

My queries are specifically related to "Application Switches" and "Silent Install"

I am only guessing that "Switches" are used for things like telling the install what language you wish to use for the particular program & so on? Is this correct?

I don't understand what "Silent Install" means.

If anyone here could help me to progress it would be of great assistance to me.

So to recap:

I need help with "Switches" & "Silent Install" How or where do I get the necessary switch information for individual programs?

And, what is "Silent Install"? and what is it used for?

Any help or input from people more knowledgeable then myself, would be wonderful.

Thanks in advance

I'm not going to answer because it's all in the "addons" forum.
-all about switches
-all about making your own addon.
