Hi,

I'm now switching from XP SP1 to XP SP2 and I noticed that wuauclt.exe was running.

I always remove this service.
I've started nlite again, loaded the last preset over the same source and "Automatic Updates" was checked for removal.

:-/

And btw, I have an error in setuperr.log (I wouldn't have noticed it without this file):
D:\i386\AGP440.SYS was not copied to C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\AGP440.SYS because of the following error:
Operation has been cancelled by user.

Thanks for your help.

Bump

heh

Autoupdate is kept because of integrated IE7, it needs it for settings or something.

That setuperr is normal if you don't integrate AGP filters and that specific line I always get in VMWare. Harmless...integrate your chipset drivers and it won't be there on real machine.

hi! if i recall it right before it was possible to set this to disable ... would it be possible to set this to disable so that downloading of updates may only be done manually by the user? also can the link to windows update be taken out? thanks!
