Hey,

I installed longhorn 4015 and everytime I install drivers for my voodoo3 2000 it gives an error and installs standard VGA over it so obviously the refresh and everything is just JUNK. Any help on what to do would be GREAT ( I know this is alpha OS and all so dont flame please ). :/

What drivers are you using? Since 3dfx is gone and support stopped a long time ago there aren't even official drivers for Windows XP, let alone Longhorn. You may want to give some of the hacked XP drivers a try but if you want to use Longhorn I would recommend a newer card.

hey, witch drivers did you use?

i´m on Vista Ultimate, and having the same problem with my Voodoo 4500. I´ve tried the SFFT Drivers Alpha 42 and Amigamerlin 3.1 RC1, and got blue screens on both when i restarted my PC.

yeah, i´m a 3dfx fan.

but also a guy who does not have money to buy a new nVidia or ATI card. :P

voodoo cards are really good, the graphics are beautiful, but these "no-support" thing are getting really annoying.

i got it covered when i first installed xp, but i think i´m gonna have some headaches with vista.

Oh yeah, I support ya 100%...in fact I was really hard pressed to get rid of my voodoo when 3Dfx got bought out. It was like getting rid of an old friend. I couldn't agree with you more, beautiful graphics and really good cards. I'm not a conspiracy type of guy, but I firmly believe that 3Dfx got good enough to pose a threat to the others, which is why they got bought out in the first place.
