Great thanks for the update, at least one person was waiting for it ^^

What about the kb923689 patch for XP, published on the 10th of july, is it the same as the kb925398-v2 ?

There's something I don't understand.

@ the_guy Thanx for the update!

Just out of curiosity... where did You find the "Removed KB885626 for WinXP SP2" info?

Big thanx in advance from a very wet Sweden...

It's replaced by KB936357, which is in the mandatory updates section. I believe the update just shows up for people with Intel processors.

Hey there...

Very first item in the XPSP2 list has an error

KB939373 -› Vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Information Services Could Allow Remote Code Execution

Download -› 621 KB (July 9, 2007)

Switches: KB99373.exe /q /n /z

The exe in the "Switches" line is missing a character; should be KB939... not KB99...

(edit)

Last-ish item too:

KB936357 -› A microcode reliability update is available that improves the reliability of systems that use Intel processors

Download -› 692 KB (June 11, 2007)

Switches: KB885626.exe /q /n /z

Wrong exe.

Hello all !

My first post here :)

I think that I`ve stumbled on a small error in the_guy`s list - namely:

Windows 2000 part of the list:

Download link doesn`t seem to work. I have posted corrected one below.

KB913580 -› Vulnerability in Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator Could Allow Denial of Service

Download -› 5.21 MB (May 9, 2006)

Switches: KB913580.exe /passive /norestart /quiet

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;DisplayLang=en

Cheers !

The bugs have been fixed. The KB913580 bug was just caused by an extra http://. The rest were by copying and pasting.

Windows Genuine Advantage Validation is now at version 1.5.716.0 (KB892130)

Does anyone know where to get the complete installer?

I have the installer for an older version 1.5.530.0

I did manage to find the updated LegitCheckControl.dll on RyanVM's page.

So I created a switchless installer that will install 1.5.530.0 and then update the file to 1.5.716.0, it will also add the appropriate entries into the registry. Credit goes to RyanVM, this is based on his work. I just packaged it.

To use this, just add it to your SVCPack Folder and add a line to svcpack.inf to execute it at T13

I have not test it yet, so let me know if there are any problems.

Download it at

http://www.sendspace.com/file/gyqn70

If the link is broken, send me a PM

If anyone finds a full install of KB892130 - 1.5.716.0, please let us (me) know.

*** Edit ***

Just tested it on Virtual Machine. It is working fine. No problems when trying to download Windows Media Player 11.

Took this from my windows update log file in c:\windows:

http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdo...32491eaf8f1.exe

Tested and I was able to download the file - this is the download for kb892130 :)

I support Nulceus´s idea of a hotfixlist for

Office2003 and Office2007 (forthcoming).

Thanks To THE GUY

For hotfix, I use RunonceEX to install because I had extracted them all. Total on my configuration is 82 Updates with IE7 and WMP 11 installed.

When I installed with RunOnceEX, first IE7, then WMP11 and the last all updates. after restart IE7 can't to be opened.

I ever slipstreaming those hotfix with nLite but setup was stopped. What were wrong with it's.
