Hello

I'm downloading all hotfixes for Windows 2003 Server. One of them is for Windows 2000. It seems that's a hyperlink error.

Hotfix KB943485 for 2003 Server

Well, if you have MS Windows XP Pro SP2 along with IE7, WMP11, Windows Live Messenger 8.1 installed, then, if you install all of the (currently 90) patches listed in the first post in this thread, your computer will be fully patched according to what Microsoft serves out in Windows Updates. If you do not have all of the add-ons listed (IE7, WMP11, Windows Live Messenger 8.1), you may need other patches as well.

Is this for building an automated install CD or patching an existing installation? If the later (which it kinda sounds like), you'll likely want to use Windows Update instead.

No - this thread has been "half-dead" for a long time now... regrettably!

This is how You find out.

Read the Security bulletins at http://technet.microsoft.com and find out which new Hotfixes are out.

See which old Hotfixes they may replace.

Add the new ones and remove the old ones and You are done

I'm really busy, and I apologize about a lack of an update to the list.

I hope to have it done by the weekend.

I do believe this thread IS dead. The Feb. 2008 and March 2008 hotfixes aren't updated at the first page.

Actually, it IS a big deal, because this thread covers not only the XP hotfixes and updates, but ALSO 2k and 2003.

Maybe the best way would be to open a new thread, covering only the post-SP3 XP hotfixes from now on. And would be nice to have another thread (in the right place here at MSFN) covering Office hotifxes.

Just a suggestion.
