However, this is what the top of the logo looks like anyway so I am not
sure its still displaying it and only the top of it - normally the start menu is twice
as high as this.
What I want to do really is make it set to "Show small icons in Start Menu"
but I have tried the Windows XP reg tweak and it is not the same on Windows
2000.
That would give a miles better look and also cut the problem of the black space out too...
The reg tweak is driving me nuts for this, it will most probably be two hex
numbers like it is in XP but where are those hex numbers?!
The XP tweak for small icons in start menu is like this:
Quote
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects2]"Settings"=hex:28,00,00,00,ff,ff,ff,ff,06,00,00,00,03,00,00,00,3c,00,00,00,1e,\
00,00,00,fe,ff,ff,ff,e4,02,00,00,02,04,00,00,02,03,00,00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects2]"Settings"=hex:28,00,00,00,ff,ff,ff,ff,06,00,00,00,03,00,00,00,3c,00,00,00,1e,\
00,00,00,fe,ff,ff,ff,e4,02,00,00,02,04,00,00,02,03,00,00
However this is not the case on Windows 2000

OR
Can anyone tell me what image file shows that start menu logo so
I can keep the DLL it is a part of? HINT: Its not a GIF image, its
not a BMP image, or JPG or any image format so I guess its inside
a DLL file, which DLL file though?
