Hi guys and gals,

Does anyone know of a script that will periodically check and download the latest Forceware driver from the nvidia website?

If its possible I would also be looking to do the same with the ATI driver.

Thanks in advance

I suppose its possible.....

I did initally think you could parse the directory listing of ftp://ftp.download.nvidia.com then just use the highest number to download from...

However, it ends up downloading the vista drivers.....

I guess, you could, after parsing out the highest numbered folder, then parse the filename to find winxp....

hmmmmmm

Sounds interesting. :huh:

I'm being a little stupid. My mind is completely blank on how to go about doing this.

Some sort of small script required?

Yes, you could use AutoIt V3 to achieve this. Wouldn't be that long. Maybe even less then 100 lines ;)

Hi Madboy.

I have never used AutoIt V3 before. Sorry to bother you but would you mind giving me some pointers?

Thanks and sorry

AutoIt -> http://www.autoitscript.com/
AutoIT Forum -> http://www.autoitscr...forum/index.php

Read about it, read help, read forum, try yourself, go for help to that forum (but use netiquete for posting on for ums).
