I've made a windows boot dvd and in $OEM\$1\install\applications I have a apps.rar file (there are also other files in $OEM$\$1. I've noticed though that during the installation of windows apps.rar file is NOT copied to the hard drive (while the other files are). The rar file is 2.13gb
What can I do to make it work right?

nvm I fixed it - I broke the rar file to smaller files. I guess cdfs has problems with files over 2gb

I think you should be right... the same reason DVD video .VOB files are splitted to 1 GB files ... I guess so, but not sure.
If anyone knows red/blue/white/yellow book specs could give us a better answer...

about DVD... i think it is file system limitation problem with large file... that's why they split.... fat16 fat32 .....

about the copying large file.. my opinion is maybe the windows installation is not purely support large file at the installation... 1st copying files stage
they are still under dos and smart drive.....
should nothing to do with cd cdfs i think...........
