Ast Posted December 1, 2006 Share Posted December 1, 2006 Since i installed Internet Explorer 7 any files and even folders in CD directory looks like IE 7 file.I attached screenshot of it.I can repair icons' appearence with TweakUI but after each computer restart this problem is back.Anyone has same issue or just me?And any ideas how to fix it? nuhi Posted December 1, 2006 Share Posted December 1, 2006 Sure, it messed up for me during installation of the programs I usually do, maybe Firefox triggered it.Anyway remove this registry key and it's solved:[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\InternetShortcut\ShellEx\IconHandler]But to be safe first right click and export to some file so you can return it if needed.
