Many thanks Shark.

Which build did you use? The standard http download listed at 34mb?

I notice in the adobe ftp that there are two builds, one 34mb and other listed at 25mb. Maybe the latter don't includes Acrobat.com support and therefore is more "lite" than the standard download.

you're welcome.

The file I used as a basis for creating the English Lite version was originally named AdbeRdr90_en_US_Std.exe
it was 25.1MB and had an MD5 of e714ec99dad64310176a5278189f8dc0

NOTE: I use FTP for file transfers whenever possible because dialup sucks and FTP often resumes :)

Figured this one out. Copied the SendMail api from another Adobe reader 9 full installation, into the plugin folder. This now works.
Is it ok to do this way ?

Now need one more. the Form filling option. ( copying the FormApi does not work ) Any suggestions ?

If the Lite version is missing features you require, use the FULL version from Adobe.

That was the exact build i was taking about. I think it doesn't include AIR files or Acrobat.com support, which is great for Lite versions. However, i can confirm this because i don't ever install the full versions.

Hopefully, Adobe will release Spanish version soon. I use the spanish versions on many computers except my own.

Thanks again. Regards.

Noted. But i will stick with the lite version for now.

Gopal.

I didnt specificly remove it. I agree, it is an important function to have.
Could you please provide a pdf form for testing? PM the url to me, I'll see if I can fix it.

Thanks for the Lite-Versions.

Maybe it's a good idea for some to delete the "AcroRd32Info.exe"-file after installation, as it remains worthless in the RAM (consuming 21MB) after closing AdobeReader.

That method described here doesn't work. The file must be deleted or renamed. Or use a msi editor to disable the service.

Tried English AR 9.0 Lite... Works like a charm! :thumbup
(Except that searching for updates doesn't work at all!)
Any chance for Hebrew AR 8.1.2 Lite, though?

My gut instinct wants to tell you to wait for a 9.0 release, but . . . i know adobe, obscure launguage support is often on the back burner.

working on 8.1.2 Hebrew ... available soon.
