What should be slipstreamed for a Fast Gaming/Multimedia PC?
First of all i thank everyone who are involved in making superb add-ons and helping people with their unlimited amount of knowledge .
Sir i used most of your add-ons and i am satisfied with the qualities.

Now my question is do you guys have enough time to help me create a Windows XP CD for Gaming , watching Movies and listening to MP3.I use "Widows XP Pro Retail With Service Pack 2"on an 80GB NTFS Hard Drive. I want to know which softwares should i include and which one should i omit for fast performance.At the moment i am using a 56kbps pre-paid dial-up connection.I don't use Internet Explorer or Outlook.The software i use are listed below:

1.Winamp 5.3.1 Full & CyberLink Power DVD V7.03 Delux Edition
2.Alcohol 120% 1.9.6.4629
3.AVG Anti-Virus Professional Edition 7.5.432 Build 867

14.RegCleaner v4.3 & RegSupreme Pro 1.4
15.DirectX 9.0c
16.7-Zip 4.43 Final & WinRAR 3.62
17.FlashGet 1.80 Beta 2
(Sorry i tried but failed to keep the list short)

I also disable a lot of windows services to free up RAM.How can i do it on the first log on i mean not manually disabling the services.The services i disable are:
.NET Runtime Optimization Service
ASP.NET State Service
Clipbook
Error Reporting Service

SSDP Discovery Service
TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper

I also modify/ delete these reg entries:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]
1.HungAppTimeout=1000
2.WaitToKillAppTimeout=1000
3.MenuShowDelay=0
4.AutoEndTasks=1
5.[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Messenger\Client]
PreventRun=1
PreventAutoRun=1
6.(Delete)[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RemoteCom
puter\]
NameSpace
{D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}
{2227A280-
3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D}
7.(Delete)[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyCompute
r\NameSpace\DelegateFolders]
{59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee}

I also want the Windows CD-Key to be included with the setup so that i don't have to enter it manually every time.

Now can you guys help me on how should i do these things and what should i include or exclude while makind the CD. :unsure:

I wouldn't install Adobe Reader 8 at all. Go and download Foxit Reader. You can get it as an install or as an executive so you don't have to install it at all. It's about 3mb without the installer. Does everything Adobe does, but a much smaller and faster program.

I never use a Real-Time antivirus scanner because I have yet gotten a virus, spyware, adware, trojan, worm, etc. I don't even have Windows Firewall on. I removed that from my install and everything is fine. If you don't need a real-time scanner, get ClamWin. Then you don't have any extra services taking up resources.

ZoneAlarm firewall just sucks up to much resources for my taste. Like I said, I don't run any firewall and am perfectly fine. Even the regular Windows Firewall does a well enough job that you shouldn't need a third party one.

Do you really need 7-Zip and WinRAR? I just have 7-Zip and it does basically everything WinRAR does just without the fancier interface.

Here we go:

Winamp 5.3.1 Full - I would install Foobar 0.8.3
PowerDVD 7 - use PowerDVD 5.0 same s*** but requires much less resources
CCleaner 1.34.407 - CCleaner 1.35.424 slim is better
Nero 7 - Nero Burning ROM 6.6.1.4 is better (consider using NCAB too ;))
RegCleaner v4.3 & RegSupreme Pro 1.4 - ccleaner is enough.
7-Zip 4.43 Final & WinRAR 3.62 - WinRAR 3.62 is enough
FlashGet 1.80 Beta 2 - I prefer Free Download Manager 2.1.494

:hello:

-DirectX 9.0c is included in SP2 so you don't need to add it.
-Winamp is (hard to follow) already at 5.32.

Some games require newer builds of DirectX than comes with the Windows XP cd. I can think of one that I own that requires last may's build or later.
