Hey all. I have tried creating a silent/switchless installer for adobe reader 8 and have had no luck.

would any body be able to whip one up and post the link for download?

Download link Please uncheck the google toolbar option.

I have tried a tutorial and all that fun jazz and had no luck.

any help would be much appreciated.

You may try THIS posting which contains a stripped down version of Adobe Reader (aprox 11 MB). If that does not meet your needs you may use the original downloaded installer with these switches for a FULL installation; *.exe /sAll /rs

another hint in finding available switches to use is to run this command; *.exe /?
With adobe reader 8 and the above command, the following image is displyed to the user

Thanks for the reply. I checked into that but was not sure if I could use it because it was light. I will play around with that now. Currently trying to make a switchless installer for 7.0.8 since it is what we use here at work.

Install Reader 8 and in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Setup Files\{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-A80000000002}
You will find the Msi which makes it easy to silence it.
