hey everyone,
I am brand new to this. I am using the manual method to create a unattended winxp sp2 cd. I downloaded all the required tools like the deployment tool and all the hotfixes and created the batch file to integrate all the hotfixes. The thing is, the winxp files I copied off my installation cd onto harddrive already has sp2 built in.
so when I run the batch file it will go through all them and at the very end it gives me this error, "This service pack cannot be integrated into a destination that also has integrated software updates."
I don't have a winxp cd that doesn't have service pack 2 on it. so how can I add the hotfixes?

Hmm, you can integrate updates POST-SP2, and use nlite integration of hotfixes that is more easy.
correct me if i'm wrong.

sounds like your source cd has been further modified other than just sp2 having been installed. or you have a corrupt or incorrect hotfix.

Well I got it to work, just tried it a 2nd time and it worked for some reason? Tested it out in vmware to mak sure they were applied. Thanks.
