klmcp.ini shows
[Setup]
Dir=C:\Program Files\K-Lite Codec Pack
Group=K-Lite Codec Pack
NoIcons=0

i am a noob here can u tell me how to change c: to default windows directory i mean it should not matter if windows is installed in d: it should install in D:\Program Files\K-Lite Codec Pack rather than C:\Program Files\K-Lite Codec Pack
i tried to replace c: with %systemdrive% but it doest work :blushing:

try Dir={blank}

[Setup]
Dir=
Group=K-Lite Codec Pack
NoIcons=0


it should install to the default %Program Files% by looking into your registry instead of the ini file...

If you scrap the ini file and just go with commandline options it will parse the variables as you want it to.

eg:
klmcodec163.exe /Dir="%ProgramFiles%\K-Lite Codec Pack" /Group="K-Lite Codec Pack"
