Text-to-Speech in Vista - None, or 5? Fixing?

4 posts in this topic

Does anyone know how to get back the MS Sam, etc. which were there?

I have used vLite - and I don't see any speech in the list (but don't know if it was in there originally).

My Speech control panel item is gone, and when I clicked a shortcut in the Help & Support, nothing happened.

I have the original installation ISO.

Any help is appreciated.

P.S.: TTS kinda sucks, but I need it for a program - a Road Atlas. Yes, it's bad. But Vista's is a LOT better than that of XP. :thumbup

wfunction, if the speech isn't listed in the vLite and no icon then you removed it. Recopy full DVD and be careful next time.
