How can i put vista on cds instead of dvds. Can i break up the installation up or something. Thanks!

Just accept bare minimum and remove all components on your Vista edition or wait a bit longer. For me it is down to 750MB, so it will almost fit a CD . As I understand support and upgrade are not required, so it might just fit, but I will await next release of vLite before playing with it some more.

Actually, it *IS* possible to split up the dvd to CDs & then install from that. But you might need to do this yourself, here's info:

splitting an image
create spanned media
installing from a split image
