The following value in the .SIF file used by Setup is corrupted or missing:

Value 0 on the line in section [WinntDirectories] with key "103."

Setup cannot continue. To quit setup, press F3.

Attached is my txtsetup.sif. I think thats where the problem lies. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I noticed a couple problems:

1. HFSLIP is making new sections instead of appending to the end of an existing section.

2. The error is from the HighMAT update. I have no idea what's causing the directory label to not show up.

Ok at least I know the problem. Ya I noticed that it adds a secton instead of appending to the section at the beginning. What HighMat update are you talking about ?

KB831240. It is supported by HFSLIP, though. I have no idea what's causing the error.

That must be your problem then. Somehow the highmat files are being included on your CD. I am currently at a loss. Can you post your hfslip.log file?

It's from an addon. XPSP2 has 103 predefined in its TXTSETUP.SIF so I presume the addon maker didn't bother to specify the destination dir. Win2K's TXTSETUP.SIF doesn't have the 103 destination folder specified.

You can add this line into the [WinntDirectories] section at the bottom but I suggest you just don't include the addon.

103 = system32\1033

The problem is with the RVMaddons pack from RyanVM. It includes HighMat. Thats what keeps holding it up. Thanks for the help! Problem solved!
