tidytrev Posted September 23, 2003 Posted September 23, 2003 hi iv just replaced an old monitor with a new 17 inch reliysis vga monitor and my screen is really fuzzy and its makin my eyes go all funny lol. iv tried the refresh rate and its still fuzzy!!! please please help me,il go blind if i have to look at it anymore!!!
Aaron Posted September 23, 2003 Posted September 23, 2003 Are you going above 1024x768 or 1152x864? Going above anything higher than the 2 mentioned is probably not best on a 17" CRT.

Drewdatrip Posted September 24, 2003 Posted September 24, 2003 Kick the refresh rate up to as high as the moniter lets youand do not exceed the resolution limitations.Double check the specifications online and possiably get the companies recommnded drivers.|Drew|
Skyfrog Posted September 24, 2003 Posted September 24, 2003 What video card do you have? A lot of older cards and budget versions have very poor RAMDACs, and at higher resolutions the screen becomes jittery and painful to look at, even with the refresh rate cranked up.
tidytrev Posted September 24, 2003 Author Posted September 24, 2003 hi guys,got it sorted now! it was the resolution!!! i had it in 1024 and it just wasnt havin it,is an old pc. so i slapped it in 800 and its fine now
