@powerplayground, Upper right hand side is a link to download the integrator.

@boooggy, I noticed an error in the update list. These 2 should have the KB articles reversed...

This security bulletin above actually lists three (3) different update downloads for Windows XP SP3.

DirectShow WMA Voice Codec
Windows Media Audio Voice Decoder
Audio Compression Manager

Of the three updates above, only one (KB954154) is listed among the WMP11 updates list on the WMP Slipstreamer page.

Q: Are the other two updates not really part of Windows Media Player 11 or is there something else going on here?

The 2 extras you mention are codecs. One doesn't even come with Windows (DirectShow WMA Voice Codec).

I am using WMP11 Slipstreamer in XP64 to integrate into xp64 CD and have run into the following problem. Pls advise.

I obtained my list of fixes from merging together the list given by Aust and by boooggy, so it's not clear why I had wrong ones and missing ones.

Anyway, I made the changes and it worked.

The slipstream seemed ok but when installed the XP sp3 in vpc i got the following error :

Line 16652 of the INF file \i386\txtsetup.sif is invalid
Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit.

source : Japanese XP sp3 OEM
integrate : English wmp11
output type : vanilla with no hotfixes then tweaked with all hotfixes --> same error
iso by : nlite, which I also used for sp3 only and got no errors

Any ideas ?

please try to use the slipstreamer first and then nlite.

also before that....can u please attach the txtsetup.sf file before and after slipstreameing?

Boooggy, thanks for the quick reply.

I integrated sp3 via windows RUN then went straight to wmp11 slipstreamer.
I only used nLite to make the iso.

boooggy you should think about adding KB970159 to your slipstreamer to replace the older one in the WMP11 installer

WMP11 Slipstreamer 1.4.3.0 installed in XP Pro w/SP3, XP Pro x64 w/SP2, and Win7 Ultimate 64-bit w/SP1.

RVM_Integrator_1.6.1 beta 2.1 being used to update XP Pro x64 w/SP2 with 5er_UpdatePack_XPx64SP2_2011-09_1.7z, various addons, and wmp11-windowsxp-x64-enu.exe and hotfixes for WMP11.

The source is folder: Windows XP Pro x64 with SP2 CD which is a copy of the CD.

The RyanVM Integrator is in its own folder and used by all operating systems.

RyanVM Integrator > Advanced > Check mark in box for Run a Program After Integration > \WMP11Slipstreamer\WMP11Slipstreamer.exe > check mark in box Leave Integartor Open.

RyanVM Integrator > Main > Integrate completes succesfully and WMP11 Slipstreamer is started.

Basic options > are filled in as appropriate for slipstreaming the 64-bit version of WMP11 and hotfixes > Integrate > Error message appears: WMP11 Slipstreamer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience; Close > WMP11 Slipstreamr exits the scene.

Problem occurs in all operating systems listed above so I would conclude it must be a WMP11 Slipstreamer problem as opposed to a glitch in the operating system involved. No log files created.
