I'll ask again!

I just want to update WM Format, is it safe to select WMP11 in nLite if I have integrated it with WMP11 Slipstreamer?

Hi boooggy,

I used your slipstream application with nLite and now I can't rip CD tracks with MP3, there's no MP3 format on the Rip CD options (only WMA and WAV). I can send you a screenshot if you want.

It seems the WMP11 slipstream utility removed the following registry entries:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Settings\MP3Encoding]
"LowRate"=dword:0001f400
"MediumRate"=dword:0002ee00
"MediumHighRate"=dword:0003e800
"HighRate"=dword:0004e200
"PreferredCodecName"="mp3"
"PreferredCodecPath"="C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\l3codecp.acm"

I copied the entries from an original WMP11 installation and now it works as expected.
Could you add this back on your app?

Is there a way to specify nLite which mode (vanilla or tweaked) should the splipstream work? Which one is used by default?
I can't change the mode from nLite

Also where is the WMP11 slipstream changelog? I'm trying to get the list of applied patches and fixes, searched the forums but couldn't find a complete list.

Thanks.

boooggy, can you please edit your main (first) post of the thread to add the new version number and changelog? It becomes easier to know if a new version is out, instead of having to sift through all the pages.

Boooggy.

You could do that Wmp11slipstreamer edited SVCPAC.INF. Because I integrate the first drivers and Wmp11slipstreamer shows a mistake that can damage mine my SVCPACK.INF edited by the integration done by half DRIVERPACKS
Thank you. :rolleyes:

This is my scvpack.inf

Posted Image

When I integrate the first drivers creates this.
I don't understand. It writes these characters. :wacko:
??
WMP11 Slipstreamer doesn't get to edit this.

He has some problem of me to integrate all of the addons with the nlite and later to integrate Windows Média Player 11 the nLIte gets to identify these characters

32-bit WinXPSP2

I got this same error many times.
I do not use your WMP Slipstreamer by itself.
nLite v1.3.0.4 calls your WMP Slipstreamer v. 070 when nLite runs.
After nLite, the WMP is v.9.

The error message tells me to post the bug report. Here it is as requested:

QUOTE
System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Slipstream\XP_Source\i386\asferror.dl_' is denied.
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.File.Delete(String path)
at WMP11Slipstreamer.Backend.MergeFolders()
at WMP11Slipstreamer.MainGUI.workerMethod(Object addonSettings)

Unfortunately, the error occurred during the critical process of overwriting files in the "i386" folder. This source can no longer be used reliably, please use a fresh new source for subsequent windows setup installations and modifications.

Temporary folder: "C:\Slipstream\XP_Source\i386\wmp11temp"

We apologize for any inconvenience. Please report this bug.
END QUOTE

This is my SVCPACK as copied from my folder at C:\Slipstream\XP_Source\I386\wmp11temp\SVCPACK
