Hi,
I am running win2003 sp1 and want to install a program - kaspersky antiv on my server 2003 but only have the XP program. how do I get it to run on the server edition. I remember seeing something about changing the registry but I remember where.
you guys know?

Change the platform identifier, but if you have a pirated version of Windows 2003 SP1 thats going to screw up the works for you.

Please, either buy the more expensive server edition of kaspersky or use an alternative. Discussion about circumventing workstation software so it runs on a server is theft.

Correct. The discussion of NTSwitch or anything else that changes the operating system's identifier is not allowed on MSFN.
