The upgrade edition is for people wishing to migrate to vista, while keeping their present configurations. So I'm assuming that the general installation is different from just installing vista on a fresh partition. So, the question is can I use vlite on the upgrade edition?

Good point. I do not think so: as far as I know Vista drops the uprgade folder without option otherwise.

Jeronimo, lets not jump with the conclusions.
It deletes it with the Easy Transfer component, read the description.

GoPool, well try it and don't remove the Easy Transfer. You can do all that virtually first if you don't want to risk your current OS.

@nuhi
Well I try to provide a decent answer and sometimes I am off as in this case. I already stated "as far as I know", I would not do this if I was sure :-)
