Hi,

I've red lots of posts around here, but can't find what I need... Let me explain:

I need to be able to install Windows XP Unattended CD on ANY PC. So I can't add all 3rd party drivers to the CD. I want to add them myself with F6 and when the instalation copy the files to disk the file copy error dont show.

I once red somewhere there was a way to use the 3rd party funtionality (F6) and still use the unatteded CD. I can't remember what it was.

anyone can help me on this?

Thanks in advance :)

Hello

It depends if you want integrate all the drivers, also as 'TXT' (F6 bypass Method) and 'PNP' ($OEM$ method)

Take this example: For VT6410, you can also integrate raid driver (f6) manually or with nlite or other software, and integrate pnp drivers.

But i don't know if it works for all sort of sata drivers (silicon, intel etc).

We have to separate the two methods to avoid confusion

Integrate drivers to avoid the F6 Key (just for recognize hdd during installation of the OS)
Integrate drivers ($OEM$) P'N'P, to help windows during installation to see all disks

Yet, having all drivers into a cd or dvd is useful when you have several computers, but in my opinion, i you have less than 2/3 computers, the besr way is to integrate only the needed drivers.

Instead you can search onto the unattend guide, or onto microsoft website

I was thinking about TXT (to recognize hdds during instalation).

Actually, its not 2/3 computers... I have a computer store and I want to be able to install Windows in any computer. every day new hardware and chipsets come out and I just cant add new drivers every time - and in time... not even a DVD would fit the instalation! :P

I'm currenty using an unattended ISO to install Windows, but some (many) computers wont allow this unattended instalation because when I use the 3rd party drivers (F6) an error message appears when setup is copying first files to hard disk. I don't really remember the error code or the filename (or even if its always the same file).

anyone has any idea how to work this out?

appreciate :)
