Hi all,
We have two terminal servers in our environment that both run the same application.
I'm trying to achieve a common profile for all users that logon to the Terminal Servers.
The users have roaming profiles when they logon to their desktops, so as it stands, these profiles are what they use on the Terminal Servers.
I have looked at the "Terminal Services profile path" option in Active Directory, but this will require more space on the file server.
Is there another way to force users to use a mandatory profile?
Thanks in advance

Force everyone to the same profile path, and rename ntuser.dat to ntuser.man in that profile. It'll make it mandatory.

You mean give them all the same path in the "Terminal Services Profile Path"?
Does it not cause problems with everyone accessing the profle at the same time? If not, then great

THe profile will copied to each users desk and used, but since it is set as a mandatory profile and can't be changed any users change won't effect the original and other users that are using that same profile

- Windows NT4/2000/2003
