I just created a windows xp pro w/ service pack 2 image. That image contained AVG 7.0 enterprise edition. I ran sysprep and then norton ghost. Everything pretty much went fine, but sysprep removed the avg licensing information.
Now I know I can physically add in the licensing information back into AVG w/ the application. What I'm trying to figure out is where & how on your computer the information is stored. What I want to do is then specify in the answer file to auto-replace the license information by replacing a file, adding some reg files, etc.
I've tried googling but can't seem to find any information on how avg license info is actually stored.
Please help!!!

Registry entries, usually. Monitor the installation process with RegMon.

I, of course, have the same problem with my Home Edition image.
But what is very odd is I DO NOT have this problem with my Pro Edition image.
I tried to set both up originally the same. Each has a user called "End User" both have Identity000="End User" in the oobeinfo.ini.
Any ideas out there? AVG 8
