Ok I'm trying to slipstream my SATA drivers
I followed all the steps and extracted the drivers to the Windows Source Directory, made the addintions to the TXTSETUP.sif and WINNT.sif but when i run the CD in VPC i get "The entry si3112r in SourceDiskNames section of the INF file is corrupt or missing setup cannot continue" Which INF file is this refering to? . I have specified the driver path in Winnt.sif correctly and ensured that i have extracted and compressed the drivers to locations i have specified. I think i have specified the wrong switches in the SourceDisksFiles section of txtsetup.sif. the 1st 1 tells windows where to extract the files from. do i have to change the WinntDirectories section to include the location of the drivers? this is the first time i have tried to do anything of this nature. any help is much appreciated and any request for further information will be reponded to!
