gpmc for win 2003 r2 Rate Topic: -----

Just upgraded from win 2003 sp1 to r2, but i cannot find the gpmc for r2.
Can anybody give me a hint where can I download the gpmc for win 2003 r2?
Really need gpmc to manage the GPO.

Can anbody give me a link for download

It's not that hard to find...go to microsoft.com/downloads and search for 'gpmc'.

It is only for sp1. my R2 is 64bits server

The GPMC does not run on 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows.

You didn't state that this was x64 - you're out of luck in this case, and you'll have to install it on a 32bit box to use the GPMC.

"SP1" in this case means that GPMC has been updated to SP1, not the OS service pack. Think of it like having Office XP SP3 installed on a computer running XP SP2. GPMC SP1 works on 2003 R2...but only the 32-bit version.

As cluberti already said...install it on a 32-bit workstation and manage your GPOs from there.
