I'm sure it's possible, but it hasn't been done yet. Also, I don't Vista would run that well on 256mb ram. It barely runs on my 512mb system

This gets asked a lot - no, you can't bypass the initial check, but you can remove RAM once Vista is installed without issue.

You'd have to re-write the installer, because it's hard-coded into the installer engine routine. Good luck.

what you mean already? don't know, will have to see

Let me see, replace the setup.exe and do a reboot and put back original
Think thats already been done hasn't it? Quite awhile back to do the drivers thing with XP wasn't it.
If there is a will then there is a way , it will be done.

Thats only for tests BTW, In no way would I want to run Vista with that amount, I'd think it would suck without heavy modding.

Its Super...The crack is worth a million :D

Just copy the entire vista setup from DVD to your hard drive, patch winsetup.dll using the given crack and run the installation using the latest Windows PE Bootable CD :P

And I love Vista all the way ;)
