Users folder hidden

Easiest Way to do this is
Open Control panel/User Accounts
There's an option at the bottom to turn user account control on or off

It would appear that the Documents sub-folder is also hidden, very odd indeed.
So just to recap, c:\users\username is hidden, c:\users\username\documents is also hidden. All c:\users\username subfolders are not hidden.
When I do a right click and select properties, the hidden checkmark is selected and greyed out. Oh, and UAC is turned off
Any ideas out there?

As for UAC, I turned that off almost as soon as Vista was installed
