Is there a way to prevent the hfslip.log from being created in the sourcess folder?

I don't think there is a switch for that. Is the log bothering you? It is also placed inside the ISO.

I originally complained about this when it first appeared inside SOURCESS, but we cannot remove this functionality. If you want to create the ISO after removing the log file, set MAKENOISO=1 in HFANSWER.INI (read here!), then run HFSLIP again but type MAKEISO when you are asked to agree to the instructions.

hi lindiro! why remove HFSLIP.log? it's one of the few footprints that HFSLIP has been run on the original source ... also a simple way of acknowledging the efforts of our code maintainers aside from using it for posting if problems were encountered in a particular run ... pls take no offense her but as for me i'm proud to have it there & even share HFSLIPed OS to my friends who eagerly await the builds i make ... :P

It's just a personnel preference. Thanks to everyone for your assistance.

The latest test release supports a setting to disable this functionality.
