Another Late nighter :)

Well I'm pretty much done with the unattended CD (mainly thanks to members of this board!) and the final part, the visual style, went almost without a hitch :rolleyes:

Basically, the Vista theme by Windows X was really nice, the only thing I didn't like was the rather thin title bar, as I'm used to the thick one. I loved the style of the Zune theme by microsoft so I basically used StyleBuilder to nick the Zune titlebar and stick it in the Vista theme.

This went off without a hitch however I have a ridiculously annoying problem now.

Basically, since the old vista titlebar was thin, the 'edge' so to speak of the window was lower down than that of the fatter title bar of the zune theme. So when I switched the title bars, I thought I'd followed it exactly to the settings in the zune file, but apparently not. Now every time I try to move a window with my new theme (by click dragging the title bar), the cursor turns into the double headed arrow and instead of moving the window, resizes it!!

I've searched and searched the Zune TEXTFILE bit where it tells the theme where to put the images, but I can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong. If anyone with more specialised knowledge of building .MSSTYLE themes or using StyleBuilder by TGTSoft resides on these boards, I'd greatly appreciate a prod in the right direction!!

Note that I can't attach the theme file as I haven't gotten permission to edit Windows X's style and releae it to the public (I will of course be using my modified version for personal use only).

TIA,

// Xeijin

Well I did manage to get it fixed in the end, if anyone else is interested.

The value for transparency on 'FramCaptionSizer.bmp' was 0 0 0 (black) because the old theme had thin title bars, All I needed to do was change that to 255 255 255 (white) and it all worked perfectly!
