Outlook Express How to backup Outlook Express email folders and settings Rate Topic: -----

I want to reinstall Windows Xp soon, as I got a virus and after cleaning the computer doesn't work as smooth as before. I gives some strange erros and sometimes it justs hangs up... I want to backup Outlook Express emails and settings before reinstall, and restore afterwards. Any help?

Thank you for your suggestion. Fab's Autobackup looks like a nice product, i will try it out. I also found Outlook Express Backup Genie http://www.amicutili...-express-backup which does the job right and fast. I will try them out more and then buy one! Thanks again!

THe easiest way to backup the emais is to simply copy the store folder to a different ocation.

The "Export..." button may be used from the Internet Accounts dialog box to back up account settings.

To backup Outlook Express Identities and settings, back up HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities .
