Fast disable and enable services/processes

Hi,

has someone a script to make it possible to disable multiple running services. And reenable them when I want to.

Sometimes I need lots of cpu and memory, I want to disable some services temporarely and start them again when I'm finnished.

I know I can use the command net stop 'servicename' or sc stop 'servicename'.

But a pre written script that checks the running services (I don't really need) and stores them so I can enable them again would be nice :-)

Other tools are welcome too (I once saw something to make is easier to play games, but forgot the name)

I only want to disable services temporarely and stop processes that take too much memory.

And what is "too much" memory? Are you running on 256 MB of RAM? You are low on memory when Windows alerts you that you're virtual memory is low. This is caused by a low value set for the page file or a memory-intensive game like BF2 which eats 1GB+ easily. You're better off just getting more RAM.

getting more ram is a good option.

But I can not upgrade my CPU :-) (laptop)

(now let's have a look if there is space left for extra ram)

edit: ****, no more place for extra ram... :s
