I have been looking at OEM security software lately, trying to pick the one I'm going to get, but theres one thing I wont to know.

With full boxed security software, you get 12 months of anti-virus updates elc.....

what do you get with OEM security software, is it 3 months, if so ,then no point in buying OEM

Are you talking about anti-spyware, anti-virus and firewall software? You don't need to buy anything and I wouldn't advise getting a suite of bundled software.
