I have an intel core duo 2 processor 6700 and it says that my processor doesn't support it for both minimum, and recommended requirements. But it says I have recommended requirements for everything else, and i have downloaded new update, and it still gives me, game is no longer working error message and closes. Vista Home Premium. I did not upgrade from XP to Vista, it came automatically with my Dell XPS 410.

I have re-installed it, ran it in compatibility mode, and installed the newest updates. It just freezes on the black loading screen when your first load the game up or windows vista, says this program has stopped working, and closes.

check your event viewer for an error, could be a directx error but i dont see how since its a brand new install of vista.

also what video card do u have? it needs to have Shader Model 3.0

Nvida Geforce 7900GS. It has all the recommended settings except for it says my Intel Duo Core 2 6700 Processor, isn't compatible with it, that it requires a 3.5ghz processor, wtf? Mine does more that just support it.

well ive been reading up on it and apparently it is more or a vista problem... but people have been able to fix it by just reinstalling vista and vegas... there are also new nvidia vista drivers out if you care to try them. from what ive been reading the warning are just warnings, it doesnt matter how fast your cpu is. also try running the game as an administrator. and i hope its not a problem with your dell version of vista... that would really suck. if you really want to play then i guess you could install xp.

The reason why it won't work is because it is based on the old netburst processor architecture. It looks for high-speed CPU's.
EDIT:
I play it on my pc (specs in sig) flawlessly with all video settings at max (including antialiasing and anisotropic filter). Oh, and I finished it
