Transparent desktop Icon text please help Rate Topic: -----

how do you make the title of the desktop icons transparent with the under shadow... I am using the classic skin...

Go control panel/display/appearence/......then choose the effects button then make sure that the box is ticked that says "use the following method to smooth edges of the screen fonts"
then instead of standard choose clear......and that should change the lettering under ur desk top icons to a darker more visable display:cool:
I think thats what u were after???

01. Right Click My Computer, select Properties
02. Advanced::::> Performance(Settings)
03. Scroll to the bottom in the visual effects tab
04. check/uncheck "Use Drop Shadows for icons labels on desktop"

Yeh, sorry I wasnt typing anything clearly earlier so i went and caught some zzzz :)
