Audio driver for ASUS A8N SLI I can't seem to find the vista audio driver for my ASUS A8N SLI Rate Topic: -----

Hey

I'm having problems finding a vista audio driver for my ASUS A8N SLi... When I am using WinXP I just install 6.86_nforce_win2kxp_international_whql.exe (http://www.nvidia.co...win2k_6.86.html) and it will automatically install drivers for everything (except graphics) including the driver for the build in sound card.

But when I download and install the Vista version of the driver: nforce4_amd_winvista32_15.00_english_whql.exe (http://www.nvidia.co...ta32_15.00.html) it does not install the audio driver which of course is do to the fact that the "package" does not contain a audio driver as you can see if you follow the link i provided...

So my question must be:

Where do I find the Vista audio driver for my ASUS A8N-SLI (the onboard one)??

My operating system is: Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit

The nvidia drivers do not have the specific on-board sound card drivers included for the mothboard. Go to the Asus website and do a search for that motherboard,look under the beta or newest tabs for drivers and it will be there.

I have the A8N-SLI, and managed to get the onboard audio working using the new generic realtek drivers located

The drivers are for 32/64 bit vista.

Note the vista doesnt support MPU401 midi, so even after you install these the midi part of the driver will still be listed as unknown device in device manager.

Can anyone PLEASE tell me where can I download a driver for asus p5gd1-fm/s. (URGENT!!!)
